Meet Dr. Ben
I grew up in New Hampshire where I attended the University of New Hampshire and earned a degree in Environmental Conservation. After several years of working as an environmental researcher I switched gears and pursued the trades, following a passion to work and create with my hands. Although I had occasionally seen chiropractors growing up, it wasn’t until the fallout of a failed spine surgery that I was set on a path to figure out how to actually heal. It was through this determination to regain my health and well-being without further surgery that I truly forged a connection with chiropractic.
I attended Life Chiropractic College West in California where I graduated with honors and clinical honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic. During my time in school I studied BGI, Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson Drop Table, SOT, Cranio-sacral, and upper-cervical as I hold a belief in having the right tool for the job. In my studies I was introduced to the philosophy of chiropractic which understands that within each of us is an innate inner wisdom or intelligence that allows us to naturally heal so long as the body and our life are in a position to heal. This deeply resonated with my own experiences of chiropractic and drove me to take a deep dive into studying the body as an interconnected system, not just a sum of its parts. These thoughts and ideas have become a way to live my life and are with me whether I’m in the office or out in the mountains.
Approach
At Ripple Chiropractic we believe that motion is life. During our lives we can reach a point where the stresses of life have built up beyond a point we can handle or adapt to. This can cause us to feel physically and/or emotionally stuck. Whether these stresses are physical, mental, or emotional, they affect the way we live and engage in our lives and makes us less adaptable. Adaptability is what allows us to roll with whatever stresses life throws at us. It is during these times that our bodies express symptoms of health (tension, pain, aches, headaches, cold symptoms, etc.) to let us know that maybe all is not well, and we need to take some action. While motion may look different for every person, the one commonality is that it is essential to maintaining a healthy and vibrant life. Ripple Chiropractic is here to assist you in remembering that you have control over your own health.
